Care Teams

UI | UX

A Telus Health product, one of the main features on this application is Care Teams, a space to
make groups dedicated to helping your mental and physical health.

For this project, I collaborated with the Telus product manager to
meticulously oversee the end-to-end design process of this product.

As a result, I designed a new product where patients can connect remotely

DESIGN PROCESS

  • Identify the problem

  • Clients needs

  • Understand user & user needs

  • Design solution

THE PROBLEM

A patients journey is time consuming and stressful

THE CURRENT EXPERIENCE WITHOUT THX-i

THE GOAL

Reduce the strain on the healthcare system by making healthcare more accessible

Simplify the patient journey, save time at clinics, and reduce no-show rates

Provide patients with the medical and emotional support they need to effectively manage their illness

CARE TEAM USER FLOW

Create Care Team Flow

- Cards for each care team
- Able to choose personal or professional care team

- User enters general information
- Able to add contacts (ex. doctors, family, friends)
- Custom add contacts

- Sort view by activity, schedule and calendar
- Post updates or messages
- View care team members
- Edit the page

- Edit general information
- Custom add member(currently not a THX-i user)
- Edit care team members

- New group added onto my care teams

Care teams helps tackle the current issues in health care by giving a safe space to patients so that they can easily connect with providers for updates and support in a remote setting

DESIGN PRINCIPLES

When crafting this design, I made accessibility a top priority. Everyone, regardless of their abilities or disabilities, should have equal access to healthcare information and services. An accessible app ensures that individuals with disabilities can obtain crucial health information and utilize healthcare services without discrimination. Patient and providers can maximize the features in THX-i to help one another
